Tango Argentino

The Spiegelzelt opens its doors for Tango Lovers and those interested in tango on the eve of the International Day of Tango Argentino.

In the wonderful ambience of the Spiegelzelt we expect live music from Tangomania, the Tango Ensemble of the Bavarian State Opera, which will take you into the multi-layered world of tango. Among others, accordionist and bandoneonist Simon Japha will be playing. Elisabeth Prantner-Hüttinger and Michaela Reisinger will then present tango stories from the book “Milongueros. Tango legends in private” and recite texts from tangos. We invite you to dance in the subsequent milonga with live music and DJ Eloy Prim.

Orinoco from Müllner Hügel rounds off the tango experience with authentic Argentinian cuisine and offers delicious empanadas. Drinks are available at the bar in the Spiegeltent.
